SPECIALS for … July!
We’re collecting items to help Paws With A Cause (PAWS) provide custom-trained service dogs to individuals with disabilities.
This supply drive looks a lot like our holiday food drive except that instead of food, we ask that you bring in supplies to help keep the dogs healthy and happy. We will be accepting donations through August. Let’s fill our lobby with snacks and chew toys and kongs enough to get the pups from PAWS through their puppyhood and their training and into their new partnership. Check out the PAWS Wish List below for a detailed listing of items that the PAWS organization needs.
Paws With A Cause is our neighbor and its mission is to train service dogs for people with disabilities. The first dog they trained was in 1979 after being asked to train a deaf couple’s Carin terrier to alert them when their baby cried. Once word got out they trained many more hearing dogs and the organization grew. Paws is now a national organization and trains Service Dogs as well as Facility Dogs. More information is available here.
For every item you bring in for Paws With A Cause, your name will be entered into a raffle. Bring two items, get two entries. Bring in five items, get five entries.
Prizes are varied and the list is changing as we recruit sponsors to donate prizes.
Prizes include:
